kleine Korrektur meines Briefes

Hallo Community
Ich wollt amerikanischen Freunden auf eine email antworten und darum würde ich euch bitten, diesen kurzen Briefauszug auf grobe Fehler zu durchsuchen, wobei ich hoffe, dass ihr keine findet . Aber bei diesem Abschnitt bin ich mir ziemlich unsicher

Sorry that I didn’t answer Thomas’ mail but I have not the slightest idea for a gift and that is also the problem I have every year on Christmas time, thus I needed a long time to think about it. If I have an idea, I will tell you immediately.
On the questionnaire, it says that Thomas has an allergy. Can you tell us what kind of allergy it is so that we know whether he shouldn’t eat something? And does Thomas dislike some food?

Leider sehe ich als Nochmals-Anfänger nicht direkt Fehler,würde dir sehr gerne helfen.Kann dir aber sagen,dass ich zumindestens verstehe , was du geschrieben hast.

Nur 2 Anmerkungen nach Bauchgefühl. thus ? hört sich nicht englisch an.
Und die letzte Frage? Zumindest möchtest du fragen , ob er etwas ungern ißt ? Also warum dann food und nicht eat ?
Ich hoffe , daß noch jemand hier reinschaut und auch antwortet auf deinen Text und eventuell auf meine Gedanken.

passen würde ?

thus ist eigentlich ziemlich Englisch und heißt soviel wie folglich.
Meinst du bei food, dass man anstelle food eat setzen soll, quasi als Objekt?
Die Sache which ist eigentlich mal interessant. Ich weiß jetzt auch nicht direkt welche Varianten möglich sind.

Die Mail ist vollkommen ok. Thus ist Englisch und das which wird nicht gebraucht. Food durch eat zu ersetzen (to dislike eat) macht keinen Sinn und ist vollkommen falsch.
