Translate the following part of the E-Mail and use the present participle (ing-form) or past participle (third form of the verb/ or verb + ed) when possible.
Vor einigen Monaten sah ich öfters drei junge Leute im Supermarkt. Ich erinnere mich, das ich Herrn Cheng, den Leiter des Supermarktes, gefragt hatte, wer sie waren. Er erzählte mir, dass sie deutsche Studenten waren, die eine Reise von Kalifornien nach New York planten. Ich erinnere mich, dass ich sie eines Abends traf. Sie reparierten gerade ihr altes Auto. Ich hielt an, um mit ihnen zu reden. Es machte richtig Spaß, wieder Deutsch zu sprechen. Die jungen Leute freuten sich darauf, die USA zu durchqueren und die vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten zu sehen. Ich bot ihnen an, bei der Planung der Reise zu helfen.

Some months ago I used to see three young people in the supermarket. I remember asking Mr. Cheng (who was) the manager of the supermarket who they are. He told me that they were German students, woh planed a trip from California to New York. I remember I meeting them one evening. They just repairing their old car. I thought to be talking with them. It was really fun again to speak German. The young people were happy to crossing the USA and to see the many sights. I offered them to help in the planning the trip.
Vielleicht kann das ganze mal wer kurz verbessern.
