One consequence of the terrorist attacks on people who want to enter the USA is that the USA controls the people who want to get in the country oftener and stricter with security guards and bag inspectors than before September 11th.
Another fact is, that the security people need a lot of more time to control the foreigners. Long waits of 3 hours and more are normal on the checkpoint from Mexico and Canada to the USA. (77)
