Hallo,

ich habe mich nun mal an dem Text versucht, aber um ehrlich zu sein habe ich keine Ahnung davon. Kann das vielleicht mal wer anschauen?

Danke

A telephone conversation

Jim: This is Jim speaking. I....trying.............(try) to get hold of you for the last two hours. When....did you left.......(you, leave) the office?

Lynn: It was 7.30. It was a busy day today and my boss wanted some important letters ............(write). Just as I...writting.......(write) the last letter, a customer called and wanted to know some details. So I....have to.......(must) stay and write another letter. I....haven´t always expected........(always, expected) to stay when the boss doesn´t get round with his work.

Jim: If I ......was..........(be) in your place I wouldn´t agree...to stay........(stay) so long. No boss has the rigt to keep his employees whenever he fancies it necessary, and he ...should tell.....(should, tell) so.

Lynn: Well, ..............(be) the boss he can do so you risk .............(give) notice, which would be an extremely unpleasant matter with unemployment figures.......(rise) like this.

Jim: Let´s change the subject. Why ...didn´t tell..........(you, not tell) me that it ...was........(be) your birthday last Monday. I .....invited.........(invite) you if I ....known.........(know) it.

Lynn: I ...couldn´t.............(not, can) to come anyway, because I had a cold.

Jim: What about a dinner tomorrow night?

Lynn: I´m sorry, but I ....have invited..........(invite) at my aunt´s. I don´t think I´ll be able to put that off as I.............(not see) her for quite a time.

Jim: What about Friday then?

Lynn: That ....would be............(be) fine.

Jim: Well, I....will see......(see) you on Friday then.

I....haven´t always expected........(always, expected) to stay when the boss doesn´t get round with his work. This makes no sense.

No boss has the rigt to keep his employees whenever he fancies it necessary, and he ...should tell.....(should, tell) so. rigt-right This makes no sense.

Well, being the boss he can do so but he risks you giving notice, which would be an extremely unpleasent matter with employment figures rising like this

Why didn't you tell me

would have invited you round if I had known (it is not needed)

I couldn't have come anyway

I have been invited to my aunt's

I have not seen her for quite some time
