It's a long list... But it shows how difficult it is...
In German it's much simpler: "Ich habe dieses Buch gelesen."
Oh my God!!! It's a great point!!!

what is the meaning of Ich habe dieses...................

German is clearly more difficult than English.
Nevertheless, I can better German than English... Well German is also almost my mother tongue (ist that rigth?)
We Swiss can still just as these expressions like "Chuchichäschtli" or "Miuchhüttli" or those things that you Germans dominated not so  But its funny if you tried! :D

English is an easier language to learn if compared to other languages. But, as someone previously said, it is difficult to master. There are many factors that count there. One of them is that it is a "living" language that is, it's in constant changing and development, so there will always be new words and expresions to learn.

What I think is that with motivation and good opportunities, you can learn it.
Kind regards!

I don't think any language is easier to learn than other languages. It partly depends on your native language. For Dutch people for instance, German and English are relatively easy because the languages are related.

For Spanish people, French is probably easier than English!

That is not my case. French is more difficult than English for me, and I speak Spanish and Italian well. So....that depends. French pronunciation system is very hard for me. English is much easier, indeed!

As a chinese native speaker, I find pronounce of Japanese and English are easier than German and French. But, I find the pronounce of Cantonese and Shanghai dialect are also hard  From my view, these dialect are totally different than mandarin. So, I think, which language is easier to learn really depends on which language is familiar to you.

Hello Everyone!

I'd like to tell you my point ov view on this topic.
I think you are alltogether right, if you say, that every langage has it's easyer or more diffcult aspects.
But the essential thing I think is, at what age you start to learn a language.

Here in Germany english is the first foreighn language you learn in school. And now they already start teaching it in kindergarten. Everybody tells you that English is very important and that you will get no proper job without it. So that's the reason everyone wants or has to leran it.

And later in the 7th or 8th grade you start the second language like french, spanish or latin. Then you are much older and it is harder for you to learn. The earlier yiu start, the younger you are when starting to learn a foreighn language, the easier it will be!

This is my oppinion!
