Mildred tells in the story about the past years of her life and about her bad relationship to her 13-years older sister Susie. Both grew up in the same house, but Susie seemed to Mildred like a stranger. One day Susie left the house for a long time and the contact between Susie and the family gets less and lesser, but the parents don’t stop speaking about Susie. After a time Susie came back and was pregnant. The parents weren’t there as she gets her child. Mildred was by here side and so the sister called her baby after Mildred.
