Do you think the monarchy still has a useful function in modern British society, or is it an old-fashioned institution which should be abolished??
Es wäre sehr nett wenn sich jemand den text mal anschauen kann und eventuell Rechtschreib- bzw. Grammatikfehler verbessern könnte .Der Comment wird bewertet und daher würde ich schon gerne wenigstens die sprachlichen Fehler vermeiden. Schonmal Danke im Vorraus.

The British monarchy is a system of government in which a hereditary monarch is the sovereign of the United Kingdom and its territories, and holds the now constitutional position of head of state. In the following text I’m going to deal with the topic if the monarchy in the modern Britain society has a useful function or should be abolished. Is the monarchy including the royal family with the monarch Queen Elizabeth II an old fashioned institution without useful functions for the society of the United Kingdom? In my opinion the monarchy must be seen as an important part of Great Britain because of the representative function of the Queen and the rest of the royal family and the role they play for the population especially the public function. As far as I can see most people in Great Britain love the Royal Family including the monarchy. They can’t imagine a political system without the royals and for example the reporting of the daily life of prince Charles and his wife Camilla or the party’s of William and Harry which show them, that the life of the royals has also negative aspects, which they could identify with .In contrast to this we have to see the political functions of the royal family, which includes only a representative one and an advising one. Furthermore I can’t imagine that the population of Great Britain wouldn’t improve the influence at political or social problems .Most probably the society is not ready for a democracy without wasting money for the standard of living of the royals .It appears to be that the society of Great Britain is satisfied with the situation today .They love their royals and are interested in their daily life. All in all I think that the monarchy is an old fashioned institution which should be abolished but for the society of Great Britain is the monarchy the only conceivable political system they could imagine.
