Advertising manipulates consumers more than it informs then.
The shops and firms advertise to sell their products. Every seller wants to offer his own article.
Advertising does not manipulate people. The consumer can look at the ads and inform him or herself about the price. If they need more information, they can go to the shop and ask an employee. The ads are good to compare the prices and to get to know more about the product.
But a disadvantage is that advertising does not say too much about the product, so for example a computer ad has a big picture with little information. A person who does not know the important details and the price of a computer may buy this article for an exaggerated price…???.
In my opinion the ads must be made, because people want to sell their products. But for example on the internet there is a lot of information about the articles and even too many good and bad details about the products. If I wanted to buy anything I would look at the advertising and on internet because I want to buy a thing that is cheap and I can really need.

In my opinionthe (or have you defined them? -> f.e. computer ads) ads must be made are a good way to provide information about certain products.But for exampleon the internet, for example, there is a lot of information about the articles and even too many good and bad details about the products. If I wanted to buy anything I would look at the advertising and on internet because I want to buy a thing that is cheap and I can really need.
