Hallo !!!!
My holiday trip to England
At the first week in November 2006 we, my father my best friend Diana and I, were invited of a good friend of mine.
His name is Brian Little and lives with his wife Nesa in a small house in a suburb of Ipswich.
We were staying 3 days with him and he showed us the surroundings of his home town, such as the University of Cambridge and the seaside, which was very close.
After these 3 days we moved into London by train for staying another 4 days.
After checking in at our hotel we went out to Windsor Castle by train, the summer residence of the Queen.
After that we went back to London and had a look at the Tower Bridge and the Tower of London by night. For daily closing we had a drink in the world famous Hard Rock Café.
We visited a lot of other sights such as Tower of London with the Crown Jewels, the Exhibition in the Tower Bridge, Houses of Parliament with Big Ben, St. Paul´s Cathedral, Madame Tussauds, Buckingham Palace with Changing of the Guards and Squares like Piccadilly Circus or Trafalgar Square.
In London the best and fastest way to get from one place to another is the Underground, called Tube.
The drive on the left needed getting used to and I always watched the wrong direction when I wanted crossing the streets.
London is a fascinating city and because it was too little time to have a look at all sights and to go shopping there, I would like to go to London again as soon as possible.
That was my lecture and I hope you enjoyed it.
Now, I am looking forward answering your questions.

beim Englisch-Lernen
Gruß
