2. Is it: My thoughts came always back to Bobby OR: my thoughts always came back to Bobby??
3. I thought if any person in the world knew how I ... like, it was him
-> Is it: ...knew how I feel like OR: ..knew how I felt like????
4. what is the past of "to lie" ( liegen- falls mans auf Englisch so schreibt)

In his opinion this rule was absolute nonsense. He said I would get to know the facts anyway when the investigation __ finished.
"is" wird verwendet, wenn "the investigation" noch nicht fertig ist.
"was" wird verwendet, wenn der Erzaehler weit in der Zukunft ist.
2. Is it: My thoughts came always back to Bobby OR: my thoughts always came back to Bobby??
der zweite
3. I thought if any person in the world knew how I ... like, it was him

Am besten waeren:
...if any person in the world knew how I felt, it was him.
...if any person in the world knew what I felt like, it was him.
4. what is the past of "to lie" ( liegen- falls mans auf Englisch so schreibt)
present: "to lie"
simple past: "to lay"
(Amerikaner werden immer von diesem Verb verwirrt gemacht)
