Seit diesem Jahr "reiss" ich mal wieder die Schule und möchte das Abitur nun auf zweitem Weg nachholen. Seit 5 Jahren hatte ich keine Englisch mehr und soll mich nun am Montag (morgen) auf Englisch vor der Klasse vorsellen.

My is Matthias and I am 21 Years old. Before comming here I've learned the job of a motor mechanik in a Audi concern. I visit this School in order to get my A-levels, because I'm looking forward to earn a little more money than a mechanik does. [es heißt doch too look forward to??] I live toghether with my Parents and my little sister in Gersthofen. My Hobbies are car's/motorcycles, computers, cinema, or just lay on the couch and watch TV. I really love the Simpsons - I'm sure, everyone of you knows them - the yellow people. Of corse there is many more that I do in my freetime, but I guess you know now a little about me and it's time for the next one introduce himself.

mhm.. ich denke es ist klar, was ich damit sagen will. wenn jemand verbesserungsvorschläge für mich hat, dann bin ich dankbar. oder kann man es sogar so stehen lassen? bin mir bei der stelle mit "looking forward to" nicht sicher ob da earn oder earning money hin muss. Naja bin gespannt auf euere posts!

Ja ist richtig, die Erklärung wieso da kein "earn" stehen kann gibts grad zufällig hier. Für jemanden, der das bis vor kurzem auch nicht verstanden hatte :

Du könnst statt "look forward to" auch "aspire" oder "aim at" schreiben. Da du ja anstrebst mehr Geld zu verdienen.

mit concern war ich mir nicht ganz sicher =) hörte sich aber gut an! So kann man sich irren.

Die Sache mit earn hat sich ja dann auch geklärt *gg*

Oh ja...groß und kleinschreibung ... hab ich komplett vergessen....!?! Wann schreibt man denn was groß? Städte und Namen und nach dem Komma nach der Anrede z.B. und was noch?
