Also, manchmal sagt man `oh, my god!` und manchmal sagt man `oh, my goodness!`.
Gibt es da einen Unterschied oder ist es regional bedingt?

Most only use "Oh my God" when they know that the people around them are comfortable with it. It is better to say "Oh my goodness" when you are in a formal setting, or meeting someone new, or you are not sure what they will think.
Sometimes, but not very often, people will be offended if you say "Oh my God", maybe because they are religious or maybe because they have strict manners.
