KAKADU NATIONAL PARK
The park has two seasons, „wet“ and „dry“. In the wet (October to April) many of the attractions are impossible to get to, so the dry season (May to September) is the park period for visitors. In the park are also some paintings on the rocks and you can visit about 5000 of sights.
THE GREAT BARRIER REEF
The Great Barrier Reef is the world’s largest coral reef. There are about 3000 coral reefs, very crystal clear water and all kind of fish in different colours. You can find the reef in the Coral See, of the coast of Queensland in Australia.
NINGALOO REEF
The Ningaloo Reef is also a coral reef. It's on the west coast in Australia and the reef is 280km long. In this reef live the largest fish of Australia, the fish is 15m long. The water there is globule warm and you can find there sometimes also some snakes.
QUEENSLAND
Queensland is a state in the north-east of Australia and it's the second largest state in Australia. In the outbeak is it very dry and hot and there are living some Dingoes. Dingoes are a kind of white dogs.
AYERS ROCK (ULURU)
Uluru, also known as Ayers Rock, is a large sandstone rock formation in central Australia. It's located in Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. The rock has many springs, waterholes, rock caves and ancient paintings. His colour is red and the rock changes his colour during the day, because of the sun. The rock is 348m high. The local Anangu don't want that visitors climb on the rock, because for them it is a kind of dreaming track and they want save the rock.
SYDNEY
Sydney is the state capital of New South Wales and it is located on the east coast of Australia. It is the most populous city in the country and Sydney was the host city of the 2000 Olympics. In Sydney you find the opera house which visitors always visit.
