Hi,

ich versuch mich mal grad dran

Letter of application

Dear Sir / Madam,

I am writing to apply for the position offered by the Friends of the Art of Education. I would like to fulfil my ... in your organization, the...

At the moment I am a student at a Grammar School (...) which I will finish in June this year. My favourite courses (at school) are Chemistry, English, Spanish (I am going to take my oral A-Level exams in Spanish) and Economy. At the moment I am also working in a company where I assist in the workshops (genauer?). So I have some knowledge of craft (Handwerk?). In my spare time I sometimes take care of some children in my neighbourhood while their parents are away. So I have some basic knowledge of childcare. Furthermore i took part in a Spanish course in Spain to improve my Spanish skills.

After my social service abroad (in a foreign country?) I have planned to study (in the sector of) education and international relationships. This is also the reason why I refused (to do) my military service. At school my favourite subject (class/course) is Spanish. Due to this/That is the reason why it is my desire (<-- Find ich nicht so passend, vllt einfach "wish"? bzw "I want..." ) to fulfill my social service abroad in a Spanish speaking country.

I'm a creative, active, sociable, uncomplicated and flexible youth. (anderer Ausdruck?) I have never encountered (simply "had"?) any problems in adjusting me to new challenges and foreign people. I like working in groups, participating and cooperating actively. The chance to cooperate in your organization would represent (be?) a big possibility (opportunity?) (in my life) and I hope that my application matches your requirements.

I would (really) appreciate it if you could send me more information about your organization and also tell me when the selection procedure begins. Please contact me if you want to ask me any questions/there are any questions left concerning my person or you have/there are any doubts concerning my application. If you want to, I could also send you my application in Spanish!

Ich hoffe, das wenigstens eine Anstösse drin sind. Wär nicht schlecht wenn noch jemand drübersehen würde, der wirklich Ahnung vom Englischen hat

Ich versteh nicht so ganz, warum du das Thema löschen willst Es ist doch viel sinnvoller es offen zu lassen - allein, wenn jemand sich das noch mal durchlesen möchte etc.
So einfach löschen wir Themen generell nicht ^^
