Hallo ihr lieben.Ich habe nach einer Lektüre( An Inspector calls -vielleicht bekannt-) Fragen beantwortet und möchte gerne wissen ob ich diese Texte so stehen lassen kann.Ich habe oft Schwierigkeiten mit freiem Schreiben und vor allen den Zeiten.

The Birlings are a family with two children, Eric an Sheila.They are celebrating Gerald Croft`s engagement to Sheila. Mr.Birling thinks that they are a well-behaved family and he wants to get a knigthhood therefore he can not become involved in any scandals.But during this party come an Inspector who tells them that a young woman called Eva Smith has died in the Infirmary after swallowing some disinfactant.The Birlings and Gerald Croft, all the five are involved with her death.Eva Smith was employed in Birlings works at one time but he discharged her.Then she was an employee at Milwards but she had to go because Sheila Birling complained about her.Eva Smith changed her name to Daisy Renton.Gerald knows her, because he helped her during last summer who he had no time for Sheila.But after that Daisy Renton needed help and she appealed the Brumley Women`s Charity Organisation who Mrs.Birling is a member of the committe but she refused her.Eva Smith was pregnant and the father of this child is Eric.They find out that it was not an Inspector but a joke.He shows them different photographs of that woman.Sheila know that they must begin to learn something but her parents do not this.Later the telephone rings.That was a police inspector who said that a girl has just died on her way to the Infirmary after swallowing some disinfectant.A police inspector is on the way to the Birlings to ask some questions.

Mr.Birling is a hard - headed business man in his middle fifties.He does not feel responsible for anybody but for himself and his family.He does not feel responsible for the situation of his workers.His business interests are "lower costs and higher prices".He is very delighted about Geralds engagement to Sheila and he hope that they will quick married.Gerald is a son of Crofts Limited.Mr.Birling wants to bring Crofts Limited and Birlings Company together.And he has a chance to get a knighthood but he can not entangled in any scandals.He talking too much and he essert that so a hard business man must say something sometimes.He gives Gerald some advices for their future.Mr.Birling is egoistic and believes in the superitory of the individual over any sort of community spirit.For him it is "every man for himself".
He think they are a well-behaved family but Eric has an alcohol-problem and he is ashamed for his parents.Sheila ia frightend of her father.His wife is a rather cold woman and he can not tell her something.She is her husbands social superior.

The reason for their different reactions are that Sheila saw Eva Smith at the photograph.
She feels responsible for Eva`s death because she made her lose her last steady job at Milwards.She went to the manager and told him that she would close her account with them if they didn`t get rid of her.Just because Eva Smith was smiling at Miss Francis during Sheila tried something on.That is why Sheila was furious.Add to this that Eva was a pretty girl and Sheila has been jealous of her.Gerald do not know Eva Smith until he heard that Eva Smith changed her name to Daisy Renton.He looked guilty about it when he heard this name.Sheila noticed and assumed that Gerald has seeing her last spring and summer when he were so busy.Gerald would not that Sheila says anything to the Inspector.But the Inspector questioned him about Daisy Renton.He would not that Sheila heard this conversation.Gerald said to the Inspector that he first met her in March last year.He helped her because she had lost her works and she lost her parents and she was in financial difficulties.Gerald gave her an accommodation because he was sorry for her.She was Geralds mistress.This affair ends in the first week of september.Sheila respect Gerald more than she haver ever done before.He was the only who helped Eva Smith.
