In Germany everybody has the chance to get a good education and to prepare for any job. There is no need to pay school fees as well. Nobody can be excluded from lessons because of his religion or . If you study you can reach everything but if you are lazy you give your chance away. Performances in school are an important step to coordinate the whole life. Maybe you want to be come a doctor as a woman. I am sure that there is nothing that keeps you from reaching this if you try really hard.
I just explained that the duty to live our lives to the fullest lies upon us. But the question is how. For that we need aims. Aims are the light at the end of the tunnel when you think you cannot keep on going. They give you the energy and motivation to continue. Therefore they are very important to build your future. You do not need to know, which paths of life you will choose, but you have to be aware of your destination. Let us assume you want to become a teacher. Who knows if you will go to the USA as Au-pair for one year before realizing your aim? The important thing is not to get too distracted by the many possibilities, but to focus on what you really want. And as far as I am informed, no architect plans his houses without knowing how they are supposed to look like in the end.

Decisions can influence the whole life's style and life's standart. Every of your decisions changes your life and brings new paths to walk. Some decisions have more advantages and others have more disatvantages. Mostly you do not know about the consequences but from every consequence you can learn how to improve things or how to go on. You get a new and exiting experiences. They may hurt sometimes but after all you can say they made you understand. If you decide to have a pet you certainly learn about responsibility and how to treat those creatures. Decisions are what our lives are built on. At the beginning of our lives our parents made them for us but now we have to make more and more of them all by ourselves. And one day, we again will have to make decisions for our children – help them to build their own futures.

This is why you are the architect of your own future. Like an architect you plan and prepare the future project. Decissions and aims are what changes the life you may have in some years. Our parents always told us to "study and try hard to get a good education" so we would later have a better life than they have.
