Why was a welfare system needed in 1870, and why do we continue to need one now?
In my opinion the welfare system was needed in 1870, because the poverty rate in the industrial cities was enormously high. The Big family system didn’t work any longer.
Give tree arguments against the Welfare State in its present form!
The problem is that the social abuse has been on a steady rise for years, besides the social system is too expensive. The system in Germany is 50- 60 years old. The time has been changed for example: the people in Europe live together, Germany is one state, the number of workless people grows up.
Do you think the state in Germany provides enough, too much or too little welfare? Give reasons for your answer.
My personal view is that Germany provides enough welfare, but there is more to it than that.
We needed welfare for old people, ill people, ( handicapped people?)and workless people, but it is obvious that a lot of people abuse the system. The government shout control this people and should hard prosecute (punish) the bad one.
