Which is correct? Well, first of all you would name the other person(s) first. -> My friends and I...
Both are possible, but the first is grammatically "safer", whereas the second is widely used in spoken language.

In recent years "me" has lost some ground. To the point even, where some people over-correct and use "I" in places where it should really be "me".
