Hi, is it possible to say "There it is written" or "On the sign is written"? It should be "It reads" or "It says", shouldn't it?

Well, it's possible to say all of these things but they would sound rather strange in most situations. It would sound as if you read it out of an old book.
What you'd usually say is something like "Here on the sign it says ..." or "The sign reads ..." or "It says on this sign ..."
