Can someone help me with this text?

Hello everyone
we are probably to write a diary entry in English and actually I am quite good at English, but I have difficulty in doing so.
Would not it be nice.

Here is the text:
Dear Diary,
I'm listening to the falling rain against my window. The unopened letters are well settled. My dreams are against the walls and on the ceiling.
What do I want to go? What do I want to do? On what shall I remember, on what shall I hold on, You do not have to be a saint or a prophet to see that nothing is going on for me.
And if i move away, simply over night, I leave this country and do not cry one tear for it.
I'm gonna pack all the important things and sell the rest and the only thing
"I'm forever away. This is no goodbye on time, this is forever."

My dreams are against the walls and on the ceiling -- was willst du damit sagen?.

Where do I want to go? What do I want to do? What am I meant to remember, what am I meant to hold on to, you do not have to be a saint or a prophet to see that nothing is going on for me.-- was willst du damit sagen?

And if I move away, simply over night, I leave this country and will not shed a tear over it.
I'm going to pack all the important things and sell the rest and the only thing ... Rest des Satzes fehlt.
"I'm gone forever. This is not a temporary goodbye, this is forever."

Ich  habe mir deinen Text angesehen und das Problem ist an sich, dass du das was du auf Deutsch sagen moechtest direkt ins Englische uebersetzt, z.B. das ist kein Auf Wiedersehen auf Zeit uebersetzt du mit "this is no goodbye on time". Einige deiner Saetze machen daher im Englischen ueberhaupt keinen Sinn, z.B. meine Traeume sind gegen die Wand und an der Decke? Was meinst du damit?
