get in / get into / get on / get onto (statisch vs. dynamisch)

Hallo,

bisher habe ich in der Grammatik gelernt, dass
"in" statisch
"into" dynamisch
ist.
Beispiel (statisch): The cat is in the box.
Beispiel (dynamisch): Karen got into the car and drove away.
Jetzt zu "on" statisch und "onto" dynamisch.
Sagt man: "Karen got onto the bus." oder eher "Karen got on the bus."

Beides geht, das einfache "on" wird deutlich häufiger benutzt.
