Kurzvortrag: wäre froh um Korrektur

Beitrag von phoberus »

Hallo zusammen :)

EDIT: ADMIN Link entfernt (s. Forenregeln)

Oder hier der Text:
Welcome to my presentation about “Food waste”. We all throw from time to time edibles away and think that it isn’t so bad because it’s only a little. However, summed up around one third of the food is wasted from field to plate. This statistic only counted the eatable waste.
Everyone can play a role in reducing food waste. Often with minimal effort, food waste can be reduced and you can help to protect the environment. I don‘t want to bore you with numbers and statistics, so I will show you what you can make against food waste. (give list with the tips)
The first advice is to think about the portion before buying and ordering. Wasting food is often a subconscious act, become aware of how much food you throw away. When there’s a sale on products with a large quantity, think about how much you really need.
Then you should plan meals and make shopping lists. In a restaurant, you can ask to take your leftovers home. Preferably in reusable containers.
My second hint is to become a more mindful eater. Make and request smaller portions, if you aren’t so hungry and if someone at the table can’t eat his menu, the others can help. When we must force us, to eat all, we don’t get happier, only thicker.
Also a nice trick is to go shopping after a meal. Then you buy less, than when you’re hungry and you save money. If you have still too much food, save it before cooking and make it another time or put it in the fridge with a Tupperware. But don’t hide this eatable food behind the new food. Recycle the leftovers and use them to make another lunch or dinner.
You can also donate to food banks and become a conscious consumer.
You should also empty your packaging properly and cut it off. Like this, we waste a lot less.
In addition, search in the internet if you can eat the product after the printed date. Mostly. It’s only the date, when it has the best taste and not when it should be used. For this, I have five examples.. (show and describe picture)
Now you should know how to counteract the food waste. But there are also other factors:
The catering services have difficulties to guess the number of customers. Or the retailers always must have enough in the stock, so it isn’t easy to order the correct amount.
An important reason is also the high quality standards. Most of the waste is, because we only buy products that looks the best. For example, fruits mustn’t look perfect to taste perfect.
There’s also an overproduction or lack of demand for certain products at certain times of the year or the products are getting damaged by the transport.
This topic is very important for me, because it couldn’t be that humans starve and we waste the food. We should be gratefully for what we have. Also because I work for the ***************** in ******. My function is to upload the content to our website and make the layout for one of our magazines.
For example, I used this picture in German (show and describe picture). Here’s the translated version.

I hope you will use some of my tips and have learned a lot about food waste. Thank you for listening.

Welcome to my presentation about “food waste”. We all throw edibles away from time to time, and think that this isn’t so bad because it’s only a little. However, summed up around one third of the food is wasted from field to plate. The statistic I am referring to only counted the eatable waste.

Everyone can play a role in reducing food waste. Often with minimal effort, food waste can be reduced and you can help to protect the environment. I don‘t want to bore you with numbers and statistics, so I will show you what you can do against food waste. (give list with the tips)

My first advice is to think about the portions before buying and ordering. Wasting food is often a subconscious act, so you should become aware of how much food you (actually) throw away. When there’s a sale on products sold in bulk quantity, think about how much you really need. Then you should plan meals and make shopping lists. In a restaurants, you can ask to take your leftovers home. Preferably in reusable containers.

My second suggestion is to become a more mindful eater. Make and request smaller portions, if you aren’t very hungry and if someone at the table can’t eat their meal, the others can help. If we must force ourselves to finish our meal, we won’t get happier, only thicker.

Also a nice trick is to go shopping after a meal. Then you buy less, than when you’re hungry and you save money. If you have still too much food, freeze it before cooking and make it another time or store it in the fridge using a food container/tupperware. But don’t hide this eatable food behind freshly bought food. Recycle the leftovers and use them to make another lunch or dinner.
You can also donate to food banks and become a conscious consumer.

You should also empty your packaging properly and cut it up. Doing this, we produce a lot less waste.

In addition, search in the internet to find out whether you can eat the product beyond its best-before date. Generally the best-before date is the date which guarantees the product's best quality, however it does not mean that it can't be eaten afterward. For this, I have five examples.. (show and describe picture)

Now you should know how to counteract the food waste. But there are also other factors:
The catering services have difficulties to guess the number of customers. Or the retailers always must have enough in the stock, so it isn’t (always) easy to order the correct amount.

An important reason is also the high quality standards. Most of the waste is caused by people only buying products that look its the best. However, fruits don't have to look perfect to taste perfect. There’s also an overproduction or lack of demand for certain products at certain times of the year or the products are getting damaged by the transport.

This topic is very important for me, because it isn't just that some humans starve while we waste the food. We should be grateful for what we have. Ich habe noch zwei Grafiken erstellt, kannst du mir diesen Text auch noch rasch korrigieren?

Grafik 1 (Auflistung Tips):
Tips & tricks against food waste
  1. Think about portions
  2. Become a more mindful eater
  3. Go shopping after a meal
  4. Empty your packaging properly
  5. Is it eatable beyond its best-before date?
Grafik 2 (Beispiel Banane: gedrittelt in 3 Reifestufen)
Beschriftungen:
1. Teil (gelb): ripe
2. Teil (gelb braun): still eatable
3. Teil (braun): cookable & friable
Daneben: food waste is stupid

Vielen Dank

Vielen Dank, bin dir sehr dankbar.

"friable" geht tatsächlich nicht. Ich könnte anbieten: "suitable for cooking and frying/roasting".

Grüße und viel Glück für die Prüfungen
