Letter of Motivation

Beitrag von Greenie33 »

Hallo!

From a more personal point of view, I would appreciate living a semester in Canada to have the chance to get to know its culture also from the inside. I already spent a year in *** to study and six months in *** to volunteer. Those were two very enriching experiences and I’m happy to have the possibility to live one again. However, I feel ready this time to leave for a country further than Europe. It will give me the opportunity to look at a wider picture and confront me with new cultures and mindsets.
Finally and most importantly, I would be able to improve greatly my English, might it be writing by taking part of the courses or speaking by the daily life conversation.

I believe that studying at *** for a semester would give me the opportunity to learn more about Canada and bring me an important stock of knowledge for the future of my translation studies. Thank you for considering my application.

Sincerely,

Vielen Dank!

From a more personal point of view, I would appreciate living in Canada for a semester to find our about Canada's culture. I have already spent a year in *** to study, and six months in *** to volunteer (vielleicht erwaehnst du noch, was du genau gemacht hast). Both experiences were very enriching and I'd be delighted if I got another chance to gather a similar experience in Canada. This time around I am ready to visit a place outside of Europe. This would give me the opportunity to look at a wider picture and to engage with other cultures and mindsets.
Finally and most importantly, a semester in Canada would support me in improving my English skills by actively using the language both in writing and in day-to-day conversation.
