Hello Guys,
i have written an essay for the preparation of my TOEFL, again. The Task is:
"Many People have a close relationship with their pets. These people treat their birds, cats, or other animals like members of the family. In your opinion, are such relationships good? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer."
Essay:

Many People regard their pets as one of their best friends for many years and care a lot about them.
Pets can be a huge part of our life. Started from the time we spend till the money we spent.You read books how you treat them in the best way and buy them expensive toys and foodIn my Opinion, a pet can be one of the best things in your life and i base these these on following points.

There is very often a special relationship between the owners and the pet. I have grown up with two dogs and after many years i had known their character and their habits. But sometimes I had the feeling that they did also know mine. When they layed their head on my legs or wanted me to play with them, it felt like if their have known my current feelings.

You have also a strong responsibility and can develop skills to take care for something. Especially children can improve how they have to treat animals and how to overtake duties.
For people who are disabled or alone, a pet can become a centre of their life. Depressed people can find a new sense and hope in it and get more pleasant and satisfyied. For example a dog from a blind man acts as a guide and is often also the most important family member and friend.
I have never denied to be an owner of pets and i have only good memorys about them. For everyone who can spend enough time, space and money, I would recommend to get a pet. You will not regret it.

Ausserdem bin ich davon ausgegangen, dass deine Hunde noch am Leben sind. Falls nicht, dann muessen wir den Text abaendern:
