Respond to the questions.
Hello!
This are only responses.
1. I would drive him to the hotel or phone for a taxi.
2. I would definitely eat by courtesy.
3. I would try to avoid conservations where I have to talk to him or her with name.
4. If I have absolutely no idea about political situation in their country I would keep one's mouth shut.
5. It were OK. I would try to find out what he likes or I would invite him to an expensive restaurant. You can't go wrong with that.
Thanks for correction!

Re: Respond to the questions.
It would be OK. I would try to find out what he likes, or I would invite him to an expensive restaurant. You can't go wrong with that.
Aber sonst ist alles jetzt korrekt.

Hi goodox, goodox hat geschrieben:These are only responses.
Singular: this / that = dieses / jenes
Plural: these / those = diese / jene

Not even proper corrections. Just some ideas to make it sound more German. Added a comma.Keswick hat geschrieben:goodox hat geschrieben: 4. If I had absolutely no idea about the political situation in their country, I would keep my mouth shut.
Also, with this, I'd change it to one of "talk to him or her and have to use his or her name," "talk to them and use their name," or "talk to him and use his name." English is weird with not having an accepted neutral pronoun other than "it" (which people tend to take as degrading), but it works better if you pick one and stick to it. I personally like to just use "him" if it's unknown, since it's easier than saying "him or her" everywhere, and "they" and its other forms were initially only plural, and have only become singular because of common usage.3. I would try to avoid conversations where I have to talk to him or her and have to use their name.
