Hallo leute,
Kann mir jemand die unten stehende Übersetzung korrigieren? Vielen Dank :). Die Bewerbung soll nach USA, muss ich mich an deren Datums-Format und alle anderen Formate einhalten? also z.b. MM/TT/JJJJ ? Danke :)
Dear Sir or Madam,

My Name is ***, I am ** years old and I am currently studying ** at the University of xx in the xth semester.
With this cover letter, I would like to apply as an intern at you company “COMPANY NAME” for a technical internship, which will have a duration of 12 weeks.
My course has given me a predefined path to complete the internship. The Internship regulation of my xx course states, that I have to complete at least 3 out of 10 given areas, to complete the internship successfully. These areas are separated in two categories: “Operational Content” and “xx Content”. I should gain experience of the areas of the category “Operational Content” for a minimum amount of 4 weeks. In the attachment you will find a page of the internship regulations of my course, which will give you further information on this.
My strengths are a good adaptability, a keen perception and a result-oriented approach to work. Time-management, reliability and commitment to work are further traits, which I possess. I also like to assume leadership and complete every task given to me with an enormous amount of ambition and motivation. By working with my talented and ambitious fellow students, I have developed my ability to think in a more analytical way and I have also learned to deal with difficult challenges.
The opportunity to complete my internship at your company “COMPANY NAME” and to therefore gain valuable experiences, would be a great addition to my study. At the university I am usually engaged with the theoretical side of xx, but I tend to like the practical work better, because I personally learn better with hands-on experience and I can also apply the theory that I have learned in practice.
For this reason am I very excited and motivated for an internship at your company “COMPANY NAME” and I would be very glad for a positive reply.
I would like to absolve the internship in the time frame from **.**.**** – **.**.****.
You can contact me anytime, if you have further questions.

Sincerely yours,

xyz

These fields are separated into two categories: “Operational Content” and “xx Content”. I need to gain experience in the fields of the category “Operational Content” for a minimum amount of 4 weeks. My strengths are a adaptability, a keen perception, and a result-oriented approach to work. Time-management, reliability, and commitment to work are additional traits that I possess. I also like to assume ("assume" is fine here, it doesn't need to be "accept." "Accept" has a different meaning.) leadership and complete every task given to me with an enormous amount of ambition and motivation. By working with my talented and ambitious fellow students, I have developed an ability to think in a more analytical way, and I have also learned to deal with difficult challenges.

For this reason, I am very excited and motivated about the possibility of an internship at ("at" was changed to "in" multiple times throughout this - "at" is fine, as you are describing the location you would be having the internship at. I think this is a difference with BE and AE, but since you are writing in AE, it should be "at.") your company “COMPANY NAME” and I would be very glad if I get accepted.
I would like to complete the internship in the time frame from **/**/**** – **/**/****.
Please don't hesitate to contact me anytime if you have further questions.

Sincerely yours,

The American date system is month/day/year, yes, so you would have the slashes instead of the dots between the numbers.
