Korrektur einer Charakterisierung

Beitrag von todo2013 »

Hallo zusammen,
könnte sich mal jemand meine Charakterisierung zu einer Figur aus dem Buch "Stone Cold" von Robert Swindell vornehmen?
In the novel “Stone Cold” written by Robert Swindell first published by Hamish Hamilton in 1993 the character Gail plays an important role. The reader is introduced to her in chapter twelve when Gail enters Link’s life after Gingers’s disappearance. In Link’s eyes she is a fantastic-looking young woman, so Link could not tear his eyes away and totally falls in love with her.  She wears a green knitted cap over her chestnut-coloured hair and has a Scottish accent. Gail pretends to be a vulnerable and scared girl and that she needs Link’s support because she is new on the streets. But in real she is very self-confident and has everything under control, every time. She insinuates oneself into Link’s confidence and elicits a great deal of information by asking many questions about living and survival on the streets. These points show me that she is manipulative, deceitful, selfish and dishonest. Gail and Link roam the streets and try to solve the misery about Ginger and other missing street kids. When Link is in Shelter’s home, Gail calls the police and saves his live. Here you can say she acts kindly, apprehensively and compassionately. Moreover she is generous because she often pays for food and drink. Furthermore Gail is strange and very independent because she always leaves to phone her sister, as she says. But finally she turns out to be a journalist who has only used Link for her investigations and does not help Link to come over his homelessness. She just gives Link money and leaves.
Vielen lieben Dank schon mal im Voraus :big_thumb:
