Hello everyone!

I have to write a letter or an e-mail to a friend and I shall asking him, if they would like to celebrate Thanksgiving with me. I shall tell them what I'm planning and ask them to help me with the preparations (Write between 80 and 100 words).

Thanks for help.

Hi Liam,

I want to celebrate Thanksgiving this years at home with your family. What do you think about it? I'm going to plan a nice dainty dish. Probably it will be a traditional Turkey dinner. Let me know the answer wether you coming or not. If you agree with it you may help me out with wine. I didn't have any experienced wich one should be good for a Turkey dinner. I hope it will be a nice day for our both families and stay in a good memories.

See ya!

Hi Liam,

I would like to celebrate Thanksgiving with your family at home this year. What's your thoughts?

I'm planning a nice dainty dish (not sure that dainty is a word that I'd use here, but it's certainly not wrong). It will be a traditional turkey dinner. Please let me know if you're coming or not. If you are coming, with it then you could give me a hand with the wine. I have no idea which wine would go nicely with  a turkey dinner.

I hope it will be a nice day for both our families and a day to remember.

See ya!

Hi Liam,

I would like to celebrate Thanksgiving with your family at my (it's a little ambiguous without "my," could mean you want to have Thanksgiving at your friend's house) home this year. What are your thoughts?

I'm planning a nice, dainty meal (not sure that dainty is a word that I'd use here, but it's certainly not wrong) (Unless you really mean to say you're only going to make one dish, the turkey, "meal" is better). It will be a traditional turkey dinner. Please let me know if you're coming or not. If you are, with it then you could give me a hand with the wine. I have no idea which wine would go nicely with a turkey dinner.

I hope it will be a nice day for both our families and be a day to remember.

I also agree with Keswick's comment about "dainty" - Thanksgivings are usually quite the opposite.

I didn't know this wort "dainty" bevor. I wrote in German "leckeres Gericht" in dict.cc, and the first wort what came out was "dainty" :D.
That's why I used this wort. I delete it now.
(you can correct this text too) :D

Ah, I would replace "dainty" with "tasty," then. "I'm planning a nice, tasty meal."

Tasty is fine. Thank you. I'm embarrassed. The "Wort" and "bevor" are German words.

No need to be embarrassed. Happens to the best of us :)
