Hallo,

ich habe einen Song auf englisch geschrieben, den ich gerne mit meiner Band spielen möchte. Es soll eine Hommage an Bands und bestimmte Songs früherer Zeiten sein - und eine Liebeserklärung an meine 12-saitige Gitarre (mit "limo black" ist die Farbe der Gitarre gemeint). Für Anregungen, Hinweise auf Fehler oder konstruktive Kritik wäre ich sehr dankbar. Nachfolgend der Text:

   12 String Picking Pleasure
 
Last dreamy night I heard a voice:
You’ll get a baby, a sound of choice

         And all you need ist this guitar, sha la la la
         12 strings, a picking pleasure
         A lovely wooden treasure
         Limo black beauty clean guitar
 
I’ve seen a face and yesterday
She asked me why I cry and play
The night before she hold me tight
It’s only love, the inner light
 
         And all you need …
 
There was a band all those years ago
They rocked the Whisky A Go-Go go
With Roger’s twang and Robert’s rhymes
Fly eight miles high and changing times

She asked me why I cry and play
The night before she hold me tight - sie hat dich gehalten? Falls ja: "she held me tight"

Vielen Dank zunächst. Der Fehler "hold me tight" (richtig: "held me tight") ist klar. In der 2. Zeile mit "You'll get a baby" ist gemeint, dass im Traum eine Stimme sagte: "Du bekommst einen Schatz". Damit ist die Gitarre gemeint und der besondere Klang. Könnte man es anders bzw. besser ausdrücken? Für einen Tipp wäre ich sehr dankbar. Vielen Dank

You'll get a baby klingt als bekaemst du ein echtes Baby. 

"treasure" geht nicht?

"Treasure" geht auch. Es sind ja auch zwei Silben. Vielen Dank.
