Since I was, thanks to a student exchange program in grade 10, able to take a look over the Great Wall of China, to experience the dynamic and the tumult of Chongqing and look at the beautiful buildings of the Forbidden City I was fascinated of the culture and language of China.

Tatsächlich könnte der Satz ein wenig englischer wirken, wenn er weniger verschachtelt wäre. Hier ein Vorschlag:
Ever since a student exchange program in grade 10 enabled me to take a look at/over? (hast Du die Mauer angesehen oder willst Du wirklich sagen, dass Du über sie geschaut hast?) the Great Wall of China, to experience the bustle and turmoil of Chongqing and to look at the beautiful buildings of the Forbidden City, I have been fascinated by the culture and language of China.
