Could you review my formal letter. I want to apply for a scholar ship. That is the task.

Dear Madam or Sir,

I am writing to apply for one scholar ship which I saw in an English-language college prospectus.

I am 26 years old and I am studying English as foreign language for teachers at University of Berlin since 2014. Having studied math and physics for over 2 years at University of Oxford. My qualifications also include Proficiency certification in English. As far as experience is concerned, I have worked as high school math teacher in Berling and Frankfurt. In addition, I have worked as computer programmer for international company.
As for my character, people tell me I am nice guy and great teacher.
I feel I would be suitable for this scholar ship, because I have a good English language basic for borth every day life and business life. The scholar ship will give me opportunity to improve my English skills so that I would be a better teacher for my future Entglish students. I would like using this chance to continue my own English studies in America.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Your sincerly,

(my name).

Dear Madam or Sir,

I am writing to apply for a scholarship which I saw in an English-language college prospectus.

I am 26 years old, and I have been studying English as a* foreign language for teachers at the University of Berlin since 2014. I have studied math and physics for over 2 years at University of Oxford**. My qualifications also include a proficiency certification in English. As far as experience is concerned, I have worked as a high school math teacher in Berlin and Frankfurt. In addition, I have worked as a computer programmer for an international company.
As for my character, people tell me I am a nice guy and a great teacher.
I feel I would be suitable for this scholarship, because I have a good English language foundation for both every day life and business life. The scholarship will give me an opportunity to improve my English skills so that I would be a better teacher for my future English students. I would like to use this chance to continue my own English studies in America.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Sincerely***,

(my name).
*Be careful not to leave out articles where they are needed. Keep in mind that article usage in English is not always the same as in German: "English as a foreign language," "I have worked as a high school math teacher," and so on. You might find it useful to read over the lessons here if you're having trouble: http://www.englisch-hilfen.de/grammar_list/artikel.htm

**"Having studied math and physics for over 2 years at University of Oxford," is not a complete sentence; it's an introductory (dependent) clause, and you still need a main clause to finish the statement. For example, you might say something like: "Having studied math and physics for over 2 years at University of Oxford, I am knowledgeable in those subjects as well."

***In English, the standard closing for a formal letter is "Sincerely, [your name]," while a common closing for an informal letter is "Yours truly, [your name]." I think you were trying to combine them here, which you wouldn't usually do.

:read:
