Könnte jmd mal den Text korrektur lesen? Anregungen/Verbesserungen gerne erwünscht!

A typical day of .........

I start my day off at 08.00 am and turn on my PC at the office. Round about 8.50 am I make coffee for my workmates and me. As a next task I pick up the post and sort it to its depositions. At 9.30 am I do the filing and process applications. After I have handled the applications I usually notify the Personnel Department about absentees owning to illness. At 12.30 pm I have lunch break for half an hour. I go outside the office to relax and have lunch. When I'm back from luch I administre the cost centre. As a next task I make copys for our training sessions. At 16.30 pm I sort the outgoing post. Thats it! I leave for the day at 17.00 pm.

Es ist entweder 17:00 oder 5:00pm, nicht 17:00pm

Wie sprechen die Briten 17:00? Ist es dort auch "seventeen hundred"?

Hallo tiorthan,

Briten verwenden die Form 17:00 im Muendlichen an sich gar nicht. Bei Polizei, Militaer etc. waere es wohl seventeen hundred, aber im normalen Sprachgebrauch verwendet man 5pm.
