Today I would like to talk about a film that I saw recently. The film is called "The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies". It’s an epic fantasy adventure film and was directed by Peter Jackson. The film was released on 10 December 2014 in Germany. It’s was produced by Carolynne Cunningham, Zane Weiner, Fran Walsh and Peter Jackson. The soundtrack and the special effects are amazing. The film has been nominated for one Oscars and received an award for the” Truly Moving Picture Award” and for the “Best Visual Effects”. The film is the third part in the three-part film adaptation based on the novel The Hobbit by J. R. R. Tolkien. The Hobbit is the prehistory to Peter Jackson’s “The Lord of the Rings film trilogy’’. The main characters are Martin Freeman as Bilbo Beutlin, Ian McKellen as Gandalf and Richard Armitage as Thorin Eichenschild. The last part concentrated on the battle of the five armies, a battle between elves, dwarves, humans, orcs and eagles as well as the effects of Thorin’s dragon disease.
Before I begin to talk about the storyline it’s good to know that Bilbo Beutlin is together with thirteen dwarves and one sorcerer on the way to the lonely mountain. In this mountain are an old leaved dwarf city, only a dragon live there. The dwarves appoint the hobbit to a master thief and promise Bilbo a four-tenths of the treasure. For that must Bilbo help the dwarves to become back the treasure. On the way to the mountain Bilbo founded the own ring with the power to make him invisible.
At the begin of the film the Dragon is rage because Bilbo has steal a golden cup and the dragon think that the people form Seestadt are the thieves. The dragon destroy Seestadt but the archer Bard kill the dragon and save the people. The citizens from Seestadt are homeless and need help from the elves. The three fractions stand facing each other and will fight for the treasure. But before the battle start came the orcs and the three fractions of elves, humans and dwarves join together and become help from the eagles and fighting versus the orc army.
In my opinion was this one of the best adventure film I’ve ever seen. I’d definitely recommend it.
