As I bought a new phone, I would like to tell my friends that I'm using whatsapp now.

I'd like to know what the sentence "Ich bin über whatsapp erreichbar" means in english.

Is "I'm accessible on whatsapp" right?

Nein. "Accessible" wird nicht auf diese Art für Personen benutzt. Die Bedeutung liegt eher im Bereiche "zugänglich" (= einen Zugang habend) als in "erreichbar". Was du hier benötigst ist das Adjektiv "available".
