Dear Sir/Madame,
[kurze Einleitung über Prof].
Miss X is one of my graduate students in my W classes hold at Y University in Z, Germany. I strongly support Miss X’s intention to enrich her studies with a semester abroad. Furthermore, I am highly convinced that Miss X would be an excellent candidate to participate in the exchange program since I got to know her not only as student with outstanding academic performance but also as a very friendly and open minded person. Thus, participating in the program would not only be a beneficial experience for her but also for the host university which would gain a very valuable student.
Miss X is very passionate in her studies and highly improved her knowledge in W within the two semesters I have known her so far. Although Miss X started my W class with almost no prior knowledge, she developed herself to a student with excellent understanding of the issues we have faced in class. Her outstanding level of ambition and motivation have led to a truly exceptional academic performance. I also would like to mention Miss X’s inquisitiveness. She has always been eager to gather information around the topics we have discussed in class to develop an even deeper understanding.
In her extracurricular activities Miss X works besides her studies in both, S1 and S2, 20 hours per week in the T sector. This does not only reflect her great diligence but also her strive after achieving additional knowledge. For this reason I am highly confident that Miss X would use the opportunity to study abroad with gratitude to pursue further academic qualification.
Looking at Miss X as a person, I can say that she was always friendly, outgoing and respectful and her participation in my classes was therefore highly appreciated not only by me but also by her fellow students.
Due to her academic abilities but also due to her personal qualities, I am convinced that Miss X would be an unique enrichment for the host university and its student body.
Yours faithfully,
Vielen lieben Dank schonmal und ganz liebe Grüße
