Wenn do nach einer Redewendung suchst dann "turn ones hand to something". Die Bedeutung ist "etwas in Angriff nehmen" oder "zu etwas in der Lage sein".

ich habe die aufgabe auf grund des inhalts des textes das richtige passende wort zu wählen
jedoch kenne ich keine redewendung die logisch wäre.
