I'd greatly appreciate it if anybody would take the time to have a look at the following letter. Writing in formal style without exaggerating can be hard at times, especially if you're not native and don't know what sounds wooden and what are fixed and accepted phrases, so I'm heally happy about your help. -- PS: Do my direct questions sound impolite? In my book it says you should ask as many indirect questions as possible.

Subject: evening carpentry course

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to enquire about the evening carpentry course you offer. I have found out about that interesting course on your website and would very much like to enroll in a course of this kind.
If you could give me some more information on the course, I'd greatly appreciate that. Firstly, when is class and how often? Where does the course take place? Furthermore, are there still places available?
An idea of total costs incl. material would be greatly appreciated.
Please tell me if you should require any further information from me.

Thank you very much in advance!

Yours faithfully,
Petra Surname
