In a week I will travel to the U.S. with my wife, or maybe i should say, that she travels to America with me in tow. Next Wednesday she shall go to a meeting in San Francisco. While I just shall make holidays. We're leaving Saturday for having time to become acclimated. The flight is already at 7 'o clock, so we have to get up very early. Fortunately, we doesn't have to change the plane on the way. So it means that there is a chance to get some sleep so we can be rested when we get there.
There must be a lot to see in San Francisco, so we spend a few days as tourists. We shall certainly visit Alcatraz, the island prison, the safest prison for many years in the United States, and Chinatown. For a little bit shopping should there also be time. It may also be that we look into some of the city's jazz clubs to see who is playing.
I love sales. There are several reasons for this. One of them is of course that I'm frugal. I do not mind spending money on, for example clothes, but in my opinion you behave foolishly, if you pay full price.
So I'm easy prey when I sit and read the papers with all the fantastic offers. Is my coat not about being out or fashion? And my shoes! I've been with them for 3 years and they have not always chafed heel? I'm waiting to get going.
The funny thing is that when I stand in a shop and have tried several pairs of shoes or have considered buying five coats, I can not decide. It has often happened that I have been shopping for a whole afternoon and returned home without having bought anything.
Still, I can't without to look forward to the next sale.
