Und dann gibt es aber eine Reihe fester Begriffe, die entweder mit do oder make genutzt werden.
Z. B.:
to do a favour, to do good, to do harm, to do homework
to make arrangements, to make suggestion, to make a mistake
und manchmal kommt es darauf an:
normalerweise: to make a bed (Little boy: "I can make my bed on my own already!"
Als Teil der Hausarbeit spricht man aber von "do the bed(s)" ("I will hoover as soon as I've done the beds")
