Here are some ideas.
1. Read. Read the kinds of things that you need to write. If you are writing for work, read work-related things.
2. Learn collocations as you learn vocabulary. If you learn "prenatal," learn "prenatal care" also because those words are often used together.
3. Write and have someone read and correct your writing. Try to identify the errors you make repeatedly. I think this site has correction boards. Also, Lang-8 and italki have places for that. However, I find that if you write too much at one time, no one wants to correct it. So write something rather short, a paragraph of 5-10 sentences.
4. Don't give up!
