Dear Sir or Madam: My name is *****. In the next 8 minutes, I would like to give you some key facts about my career, my person and my motivation. During my schooling I informed myself early on as to what employment opportunities different courses of study had to offer. I decided then [I then decided ?] to study food technology, because I saw this (considered? ) as the best avenue (way?) for pursuing (to persue?) my interests in the areas (fields?) of food production, processing, technology and quality assurance. My aim was to achieve a good graduation in order to make interesting entry-level positions accessible. For this reason I have pursued my studies with focus and have mastered the given tasks with excellent result. I successfully completed my Master's degree at the end of last year. During my studies I specialized at an early stage in the area of quality assurance, among other things via projects and work placements.

I already gathered work experience in the quality assurance at ***** in Halle. I was responsible for chemical, technological and microbiological testing and process control. The creation and maintenance of work procedures and forms were part of my activities.Within the framework of a special task, I determined the test equipment capability of an inline measuring system in collaboration with technicians and suppliers. I am proud to have been involved in improving internal processes and cost structures. I gathered many experiences in the area of aseptic bottling at ***** , the largest beverage manufacturer in Germany. The company has a modern corporate culture and focuses on sustainability and long-term support for employees. The ***** stands for quality, innovation and passion. For this reason I also want to work for this brand in the future.

I also gathered work experience in the quality assurance at ***** . There I was responsible for chemical and microbiological testing and process control, as well. I managed retention samples and I was responsible for materials testing. As a tutor at ***** , during my Master’s degree studies, I collaborated on ongoing research projects (Satzfolge beachten, I collaborated ... as a tutor...). My tasks also included giving advice and support to students engaged in project work. I completed my Master's degree at the company ***** . In product development I have independently developed and optimized recipes for corporate clients, and have conducted technical tests on pilot plants. I also took part (participated?) in customer meetings. Additionally, I was responsible for the implementation of shelf life testing, and follow-up work on tastings (der ganze satz klingt komisch). After graduating I expanded my knowledge of English during a two-month English course. Because (Besser ist: Since?) I worked as a cashier during my studies I also have experience in direct contact with customers.

In starting my career, it is important to me that I be individually coached and worked with, in regards to professional interests and experience. Further personal and professional development through training are also important to me. It is to this end that I am applying for your trainee position. I have here (Here I have?) the opportunity to begin (start?) with all the relevant areas, at different locations, and subsequently to quickly take on challenging tasks and projects in the field of quality management. I would like to take (use?) the professional experiences gained during the trainee programme, to then assume responsibility as a junior quality manager. In beginning a career it can happen that one makes mistakes while handling tasks or projects. In this regard it is important to analyze errors, and to talk openly about difficulties and problems with the supervisor, in order to learn from mistakes made.

Summary: I believe (I am convinced?) that at ***** I can make a good showing in my first entry into the beverage industry and in quality assurance. I am looking forward to the challenges that lie before me (ahead?), and hope I have given you a brief insight into my development.
