Application for an internship by *****
Dear Ms. *****,
As a University of Cologne economy and regional science 7th semester student, I am seeking an internship in a branch office of an international company in Russia. My education qualifies me for a career start in the international, preferably German - Russian business field. The participation in the program “Go East” is a great possibility to get such an internship in your company. I hope to gain practical experience in business administration, management and project planning. It would be the right step to my desired profession. Furthermore, it would be very desirable for me to work in one of the biggest and successful international companies in the world.
Due to the fact that I have Russian background I speak Russian fluently. Of course I also speak perfectly German and have an advanced level of English. As I was an exchange student during one semester in Volgograd I acquired additional translation skills (German-Russian and Russian-German written and oral translations). My subjects there, such as “Business in Russia” and “Russian sociology” helped me to get a notion about particularities of business management and society in Russia.
Last year I made a 6 moth internship in a German export company “Korob and Korob”. As a purchasing assistant I made the correspondence (in English, German and Russian) and received price offers from well-known European food manufacturers. The practice there was very useful, because I got a first notice about working in international business. I also improved my vocabulary of business English and learned how to work independently and responsibly. I am sure, that these skills will be very useful in case of my employment in your company.
Due to my previous internship and my general interest in computers, I have very good PC-skills (Windows XP-8, MS Office, SAP, MacOS, iOS).
I am sure that I will be able to overcome the challenges of an internship in your company.
Youths faithfully

Re: Application letter
I have to send my application to DAAD, they manage the programm "Go east". They will check my application for formal criteria. If everything will be ok - the final reciever ( firm that offers the internship I actually applying for) will get it))
Thx for correcting, really. Last question - parts you marked blue - is there something grammatically wrong? Or you just found a better way to express what I supposed to say?

Re: Application letter
I see, I adjusted the structure of your text to express
what you are trying to say in a better way.
Some things were too blunt to be included in an official letter.
You can also ask your English teacher to proofread my draft.
