Correction needed!

I have a question concerning a sentence I have used in a test. My teacher has marked the following sentence as wrong. But I do not understand why? Asking her, was no use!


Comparing the reputation of theatre nowadays and at Shakespeare's time, one can easily recognise differences emerged due to a radical change.
