Good evening everyone

Und zwar hätt ich wieder eine Frage zu einer Übersetzung. Wie sagt man auf Englisch:"Versuche immer, dir selber ein Bild von den Dingen zu machen."

Damit soll gemeint sein, dass man eben nicht immer alles glauben soll, was einem eingetrichtert bzw. vorgesagt wird. Man soll sich selbst eine EIGENE Meinung von Dingen machen soll und seinen EIGENEN Verstand dazu gebrauchen soll, um sich eine Meinung über etwas zu bilden.

Wenn ich versuche, das zu übersetzen, klingt das ein wenig hölzern: "Try to get your own idea/picture of something."
