kann man sagen

sb announced to do s.th. ?

oder muß man 'announced that' benutzen?

'It is announced to' geht nach meiner Englischgrammatik angeblich nicht...

Bitte erkläre dein Problem etwas genauer. "somebody announced to do somtething" und "it is announced" sind grammatikalisch völlig unterschiedliche Dinge.

Ich meine, ob man zum Beispiel sagen kann:
The president announced to do s.th.
oder ob man:
The president announced that...
sagen muß.

It is announced to... hab' ich nur erwähnt, weil ich davon schon weiß, dass es nicht geht.

Nach announced ergibt ein to nur dann einen Sinn, wenn es Teil eines to-Infinitivs ist. Oben ist das der Fall. Prinzipiell könnte man das auch im Present Passive machen, aber das ist ein anderes Thema.
