Danke euch vielmals !:freak2:
Dear George,
how are you?
Today I read an interesting newspapaer article about weapons law in the United states of America. I was very shocked because it was still nothing undertaken regarding the law weapons in America. The article included the following statements.
It is the fact that many incidents in the past where people have been killed by weapons use, arouse the endless debate over a intensification of the weapons law on again. Examples are the blood-baths in 1999 at Columbine High School or 2007 at Virginia Tech. But more important is the fact that the result is already clear, the majority of citizens in the U.S. are against stricter laws on firearms legislation. According to a recent study 49 percent of Americans think that the right to bear arms should be more protected, only 45 percent want a tightening of firearms legislation. This theme is one of the hottest of hot potatos in the field of policy in the U.S..
Even the white house tries to shirk itself from responsibility. On the one hand President Obama said in an article for a local newspaper (Arizona) the firearms legislation must stricter be enforced, on the other hand after the election he said it would be difficult.
I hope you can give me some information about the topic.
Yours sincerely
ps Hope to hear from you soon
