Titel für die Bachelorthesis auf englisch

Hallo,
Ich hätte gerne eure Hilfe für die Übersetzung meines Titels für die B.A.-Arbeit. In meiner Arbeit geht es um die gemeinsame Erinnerungskultur in Russland, die ich anhand der Menschenrechtsorganisation MEMORIAL verdeutlichen möchte. Der deutsche Titel ist: "Erinnerungslosigkeit in Russland? Über die Arbeit der Menschenrechtsorganisation MEMORIAL."

Ich hatte an sowas wie: "Absence of memories in Russia? On the work of the human rights organization MEMORIAL" gedacht.

Leider hört sich das unglaublich falsch an ... Hilfe ist also dringend nötig!

I'd recommend you google each of these phrases ("...") to check
which phrase is used most with the meaning you intend to convey.

Vielen Dank für die umfangreiche Antwort! Bin ganz baff:)
Ich habe gegoogelt und auf Wikipedia geguckt: Collective Memory ist wohl der richtige Ausdruck für das, was ich meine. Mir kommt auch absence als richtiges Wort vor - zumindest wird das öfter im Zusammenhang mit collective memory verwendet. Nur bin ich mir mit dem zweiten Teil überhaupt nicht sicher. Passt activities vielleicht besser als work? Oder wird der Satz umgestellt in: On the society Memorial work/activities?

Hier nochmal der abgeänderte Satz:

Das hat ja wirklich wunderbar geklappt und hört sich jetzt viel besser an als am Anfang! Aber würde "based on the work" nicht bedeuten, dass die thesis auf der Arbeit von MEMORIAL aufbaut? Es geht doch darum über die Arbeit von MEMORIAL etwas zu schreiben, oder? Nur noch so als Anmerkung.

Ich hab aber selbst noch das gleiche Problem mit meiner Arbeit (auch Bachelor thesis). Ich will darüber schreiben, welche Probleme es bei der Umsetzung von Projekten mit der Öffentlichkeit gibt und was passiert, wenn die Anwohner etc. das Projekt ablehnen. Der deutsche Titel ist:

Soziale Akzeptanz von (Groß-)Projekten in der deutschen Öffentlichkeit

Soziale Akzeptanz bedeutet dabei, dass die Bevölkerung mit dem Projekt einverstanden ist. Ist diese Akzeptanz nicht vorhanden kommt es zu Protesten Klagen etc. In einer englischen Quelle wurde das ganze dann mit social acceptability genannt, was aber zu deutsch auch Sozialverträglichkeit bedeutet und damit nicht richtig wäre. Öffentlichkeit wird genauso verwendet wie in dem Buch Strukturwandel der Öffentlichkeit was in Englisch als "The Structural Transformation of the Public Sphere" erschienen ist. Deswegen habe ich nun folgende zwei Titel:

Social acceptability of (major) projects in the German public sphere


Social acceptance of (major) projects by germany's public sphere



Irgendwie habe ich nach geschätzten 100 mal lesen das Gefühl beides ist falsch. Aber das passiert wahrscheinlich bei jedem Satz den man so oft liest deswegen brauche ich dringend eure Hilfe!
