Hi an alle ich bräuchte mal eure Hilfe bei reported speech.
Aufgabe ist.... "Imagine that you are telling someone what you asked Susan. Write the questions in reported speech, e.g. ...I asked Susan....."
1. I asked Susan (wheter) it was too dangerous and violent for them in America.
2. I asked Susan if she didn't like the food there, because it's unhealthy.
3. I asked Susan if she was afraid of the flight.
4. I asked Susan if she didn't like the city or big city life.
5. I asked her it's too loud there, e.g. through the traffic or many people.
6. I asked Susan if she liked that the enviroment isn't there.
Meine Fragen dazu waren:
zu1. Is it too dangerous and violent for you in America?
zu2. Don't you like the food there, because it is unhealthy?
zu3. Are you afraid of the Flight?
zu4. Don't you like the city or big city life?
zu5. Is it too loud for you there, e.g. through the traffic or the many people?
zu6. Do you like environment there?
Ist das alles so ok?

1. I asked Susan whether it was too dangerous and violent for them/her??? taste in America. Hängt davon ab, ob Du nur über sie sprichst oder über sie und eine Reihe anderer Menschen. If/whether muss hier stehen. Englischer wäre: I asked Susan whether for her taste it was too...
2. I asked Susan if she didn't like the food there, because it's/it was unhealthy. backshift würde Past verlangen, aber man kann argumentieren, dass das Essen dort immer noch und allgemein gültig ungesund ist...
3. I asked Susan if she was afraid of the flight.
4. I asked Susan if she didn't like the city or big city life in general.
5. I asked her if it was too noisy there, because of the traffic or the masses of people.
6. I asked Susan if she liked that the enviroment isn't there. Dieser Satz ergibt keinen Sinn, oder?
