One more time I have to write a short text in English about a visitor from England. I would be deeply grateful if one of you could correct them.
Erg.: Ist mein If-Satz so eigentlich in Ordnung? Ich würde mich freuen, könnte jemand drüber schauen....
Maybe you have heard that in German school system we still believe in old structures. That means If you do badly in school you probably will repeat the school year. Germans can't accept that school test and high school grades aren't the only indicater for a good education. Well, we rather let a children repeat a schoolyear or put him into a lower educatet school then support his abilitys. I'v seen 13 years old pupils with almost perfect English and France changed from grammar school to comprehensive school just for their bad familiy situation. What a waste of recources!
I guess it's different to England that we have tests almost every week. For every single test you get a grade collected until the end of the year. Therefor every single test is important during a schoolyear. And if you have had bad luck you had an old teacher who was screaming all the time.
Ist der letzte Satz so in Ordnung? Kann man die Zeitenfolgen "have had.....had" so wählen? Mit den If Sätzen stimmt das ja so nicht wirklich überein?
Thank you very much
PS.: Please try to correct my other treads without reply.
