Hallo und schöne Grüße aus Köln
Ich benötige ein weiteres Mal eure Hilfe. Vielen lieben dank.
Aufgabe 9 Complete the conditional sentences II with the correct form of the verbs in brackets.
Sharon: If we went (go) by car, we (can take) could take the ferry from Dover to Ostend.
Mike: Well, if we (take) took the ferry to Ostend, the crossing (take) might/could/should take more than 3 hours. But if we (go) went from Dover to Calais, we (can go) could go by hovercraft and we (not spend) would not spend more than 35 minutes on the channel.
Sharon: That sounds fine. But (it/not be) would it not be more expensive if we (go) went by hovercraft?
Mike: I don't think so. But of course we (spend) would/might spend more time on the road if we (drive) drove from Calais to Cologne.
Sharon: Oh, Mike. If it (be) was cheaper, I (prefer) would prefer to go by plane.

Re: Ich bitte um Korrektur
Gern geschehen! Gut gemacht!

1. Andrew: Mum, Clare always plays my new cassettes. And she never asks me. (hide them)

Wie verneint man eigentlich den Hauptsatz? ...., If she did not ask me? Ganz genau!
2. Mr W.: Mary, the children eat my sweets all the time. (be angry with them).
- Well, if they ate my sweets, I would be angry with them.
3. Clare: I don't like the pullover grandpa gave me for my birthday, Andrew. (not wear it)

Aufgabe 12 What have you learned about if-clauses? Test yourself and write down everything in English.
1. Wenn das Wetter morgen gut ist (If the weather is fine tomorrow), we can go swimming in the sea.
http://www.englisch-hilfen.de/grammar/i ... heiten.htm
2. Wenn wir später fahren (If we drive later), we'll be on a more modern coach.
3. Wenn ihr keine Zeit habt (If you haven't got time), I can buy the tickets for all of us.
4. Ich könnte mit dir kommen (I could come with you), if your train left half an hour later.
5. David würde das Geld verlieren (David would lose the money), if he put it in his jacket pocket.
6. Unser Zug wäre viel zu früh in Cardiff (Our train would be in Cardiff much too ealry), if that clock was right.
7. If you aren't tired yet, (we can go to the sea and rent a boat) können wir zum See fahren und ein Boot mieten.
8. If you hurry up, (you will be able to catch the bus to the station, yet....) kannst du den Bus zum Bahnhof noch bekommen.
9. If I'm not too busy, (I will write a postcard to you from France every day.) schreibe ich dir jeden Tag eine Karte aus Frankreich.
10. I would always get to school late, (if the the first lesson started earlier) wenn die erste Std früher anfinge.
11. It would be terrible (if we didn't find your bag) wenn wir deine Tasche nicht wieder fänden. Also found?
12. I would tell you the time (if I had a watch) wenn ich eine Uhr hätte.
Thanks a lot

8. If you hurry up, (you will be able to catch the bus to the station, yet....) kannst du den Bus zum Bahnhof noch bekommen.
Take care
